APOTHECARY JARS HYSTORY:The most ancient deco rated and glazed pharmacy’s jars belong to XIII and XIV centuries, decorated in green and manganese. Following the evolution process of the ceramic, over the XVII century, started the glazed styles hand making and polychromatic pieces that were really plenty on the XVIII century. Certainly realized by talented commissioned master potters. Done by hand, one by one, hand painted these Apothecary’s Jars ( old latin word

to designate the pharmacists) were the pride of the pharmacists until the invasion of the chemical era. Those jars were used to contain the balms and medications, and most often vegetal mixtures than our ancestors used to ill trough the last centuries. Every set is considered as a very exclusive piece of art that we are glad to propose today . As best container preserving balms, plants, powders and others medications the ceramic Apothecary Jars were the number one
